Missouri Cattlemen's Youth Expo Showcases Next Generation of Beef Industry Leaders

SEDALIA, MO. (June 22, 2026) - More than 175 junior exhibitors and over 300 entries from across Missouri gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds June 12-14 for the 43rd Annual Missouri Cattlemen's Youth Expo (MCYE). Hosted by the Missouri Cattlemen's Association (MCA) and Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association (MJCA), the event brought together youth from across the state for four days of competition, leadership development and industry engagement. Showmanship & Overall Champions included:

"The Missouri Cattlemen's Youth Expo continues to provide valuable opportunities for young cattle producers to develop leadership skills, build friendships and showcase the hard work they invest in their cattle projects throughout the year," said Anita Vanderwert, Missouri Cattlemen's Association president.

Complete results from the 43rd Annual Missouri Cattlemen's Youth Expo are available through the Missouri Cattlemen's Association at www.mocattle.com. In addition to cattle competitions, exhibitors participated in a variety of activities throughout the weekend, including the Corn Hole Tournament, Photography Contest and the annual MCA Steak Fry. The Corn Hole Tournament champions were Burton Hulse & Cealy Bedwell. The Photography Contest was won by Reagan Sneed with, "Blending In".

For more than four decades, the Missouri Cattlemen's Youth Expo has served as a cornerstone event for Missouri's beef industry, helping develop the next generation of cattle producers and agricultural leaders.
