BOLIVAR, MO. (April 29th, 2026) - Missouri Beef Days organizers announced Mike Deering, Executive Vice President of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, will serve as the emcee for the 5th Annual Boots & Bling Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at the Diamond S Indoor Arena, 2029 E Buffalo Rd, Bolivar, MO. Grand Missouri Bank serves as the Overall Presenting Sponsor.
The Boots & Bling Banquet, sponsored by Commerce Bank, is the featured fundraising event of Missouri Beef Days, supporting scholarships, youth agricultural programs and community improvement initiatives. As one of the state's most anticipated and premier events for the beef industry, Missouri Beef Days exists to appreciate, educate and celebrate all things beef - from the families who raise cattle to the consumers who enjoy high-quality Missouri beef.

Program Highlights
The evening will feature Konnor Headrick, winner of the 2026 Missouri Cattlemen's Association FFA Speech Contest, who will deliver his award-winning speech about the future of agriculture titled "Life of a Cattleman." His message reflects the passion, challenges and dedication of the next generation of Missouri cattle producers.
The banquet will also include the presentation of the Polk County Cattleman of the Year awards, recognizing outstanding leadership and service within the local beef community.
Guests will enjoy a premium Missouri beef meal, with Missouri ribeye steaks provided and cooked by Merck Animal Heath, served alongside a full banquet dinner prepared by Citizens Memorial Catering. The evening concludes with both live and silent auctions, offering unique items and experiences that directly support Missouri Beef Days scholarship and grant programs.
