Missouri Beef Ambassador - Claire Walker

Claire Walker is from Chillicothe, MO, where she grew up on her family's century Simmental cattle farm. Being raised in agriculture, especially around beef production, shaped her values and work ethic, and reinforced the responsibility producers have to care for their livestock, their land and the people they feed.

She attends the University of Missouri, majoring in Agricultural Business with minors in Animal Science and International Agriculture. On campus, Claire is highly involved in leadership and advocacy organizations. She currently serves as President of Sigma Alpha, the professional agriculture sorority, and Treasurer of Collegiate Farm Bureau. She was also honored to represent farmers and ranchers as the 2025 Missouri Farm Bureau Ambassador.

Before college, Claire was active in both FFA and 4-H, experiences that strengthened her passion for agriculture, leadership and the beef industry. Whether working with students, visiting with consumers or helping at home on the farm, she is proud to share the story of agriculture and the cattle families and beef producers who care deeply for their animals, their land and their communities.
